  My shed is sheet metal, so there was nothing to screw into. I ran a couple of 2x4s across the studs, put the rails on those, and the whole thing has not moved since March. Twelve bins covers every deck screw, washer and lag bolt I own. The lip on the front is deep enough that I can dig around in there with a glove on without pulling the bin off the wall.

  The part nobody tells you about: the bins pop off the board in one motion and clip back on the same way. I carry the whole bin of screws over to whatever I am building, work out of it, hang it back up when I am done. No more coffee cans wandering around the bench. The panels lock together dead square too, so the second row lined up with the first without any measuring.

  Genuinely handy, I had been after something like this for ages. I do not know what they are officially rated for, but I keep two or three pounds in some of the bins and they hold without complaining. Each rail has 7 mounting holes; mine went into wall plugs and I left about 6 inches between the rails. Mounting them flush against each other like in the product photo is not practical, your hand will not fit in.

  Shop walls are OSB, so I skipped the anchors and ran the screws straight into the board. Three months of me yanking bins off one handed and nothing has pulled out. What I did not expect is that all three bin sizes ride the same rail, so the small ones sit up top for drill bits and the wide ones go down low where a whole pack of sanding discs drops right in. Butted a pegboard panel against the end and the heights lined up.

  Ordered a set in every color and sorted by trade: orange for electrical, blue for plumbing, graphite for fasteners, khaki for the junk drawer stuff. My wife thinks I have lost it. My Saturday mornings disagree.

  Read the dimensions twice before you order. From the photos I had these pictured bigger than they are, and a full one pound box of drywall screws will not fit in one. For fasteners, fittings and small parts they are perfect, which is exactly what they are sold for, so the misread is on me. Build quality is genuinely good and the wall mount does not flex at all.

  Not what they are designed for, but it is how I use mine the most. I hang a bin on the rail of my floor jack when I am under a car and every bolt I pull goes straight in instead of rolling off toward the toolbox. It grabs onto just about any flat edge around that thickness. I am somewhere north of sixty bins in the shop at this point.
